  • Achieved an extremely rare full recovery of par plus accrued and penalty interest for noteholders of a financially troubled medical prosthetics manufacturer.
  • Advised noteholders of a Canadian/U.S. metal and waste services company in a complex, cross-border bankruptcy. The noteholders’ recovery percentage is about half as much as that of the secured creditors despite impairment of half a billion dollars suffered by the secured creditors.

Senior investment banker in charge of development and execution of domestic and international restructuring/M&A transactions. Advised corporations regarding financial and corporate restructurings, troubled company acquisitions, strategic business combinations and divestitures.

  • Developed, negotiated and implemented a complex financial restructuring and refinancing plan for $250 million of debt of a decommissioned nuclear power plant in New England which saved the company $2 million in pre-payment penalties.
  • Successfully advised a large apparel retailer through a contentious Chapter 11. Negotiated a consensual resolution in which creditors received their allowed claims and post-petition interest while equity holders retained a controlling interest.
